At Learning Dynamics, we believe the best preschool experience is a balance of both academics and play. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to build strong foundational skills, spark curiosity, and help children feel confident and excited to learn.
What truly sets us apart is our nationally recognized reading program, developed right here at Learning Dynamics and now used in public schools across the country. From day one, we begin building a lifelong love of learning.
What We Teach
Reading
We help children develop early language and comprehension skills through fun, structured activities like sequencing, rhyming, opposites, and classification.
Our students learn to read using the Learning Dynamics Reading System—a phonics-based program we created that has been recognized as one of the nation’s top reading systems.
Children are introduced to letters and sounds through music and engaging object lessons. Once they’ve mastered the basics, they begin blending sounds, reading words, and progressing into books. All reading is done one-on-one with the teacher, allowing each child to grow at their own pace with confidence and support.
What We Teach
Writing
We guide children through the process of:
• Writing their names
• Forming all uppercase and lowercase letters
• Writing short, familiar words
• Expressing simple ideas in dictated sentences
This early writing experience builds the foundation for future communication and storytelling.
What We Teach
MATH
Our math curriculum is hands-on and engaging. Children learn:
• Counting and number recognition
• Understanding number values
• Writing numbers
• Basic addition and subtraction concepts
We use games and manipulatives to help students build real understanding in a way that feels playful and natural.

Art
Daily art projects help children express themselves, strengthen fine motor skills, and follow multi-step instructions.

What We Teach
Music
Music is woven into our daily routine. We use songs to teach letters, numbers, colors, shapes, days of the week, and other core concepts.
Children also enjoy:
• Monthly songs and fingerplays tied to lesson themes
• Movement songs that support gross motor development
• Songs that help with classroom transitions and routines
Music makes learning fun, memorable, and engaging.
What We Teach
World Around Us
This part of our curriculum helps children better understand their surroundings and how the world works.
We explore topics such as:
• Seasons and weather
• Animals and insects
• Emotions and friendships
• Safety, health, and hygiene
We also invite visitors from our local community, such as firefighters, dentists, and swim instructors to share real-world knowledge in a way that’s fun and meaningful.
